Keep solenoid (also called as magnetic locking electromagnet), its structure is similar to that of open frame solenoid, yet inside is fixed with high-property permanent magnet. Once electricity passes the coil, there will be an axial displacement for the axial core, then after power off, under the influence by the closed in magnetic field from the permanent magnet, the position (self-locked) for the axial core can be maintained after displacement takes place during electricity passing, without the assistance by input electric power. The attraction and restoration are driven by the pulse power supply. It features energy-saving, small temperature rise rate, big power and other advantages.

It can be divided into unilateral self-keep type and dual-direction self-keep type. For the former one, it will only hold(lock)the iron core onto a certain position of the traveling terminal; while for the dual-direction self-keep solenoid, it adopts double coil structure, which can maintain the iron core (self lock)onto the two different positions that forms startup and termination, and both positions have an equal outputting torque(double stability).

Features:

1. Since permanent magnets are assembled, after energized, plunger can keep holding, even power off, it's a power-save type solenoid.
2. De-energized holding force is in the range of 0.24-24kg
3. Pull force can be increased by the union outcome of inside magnet force and solenoid.
