Bi-stable Rotary Solenoids (latching solenoid)

Bistable rotary solenoid (also called as dual-directional revolving-angled motor), covers the main functions of rotary solenoid and dual-directional self-keep solenoid. The solenoid is operated once, then held in position, or latched by either a spring or a permanent magnet until it is operated a second time to return it to the start position.
As it uses the high-performance permanent magnet and crystal-granule oriented high silicon iron tape as the main materials for its magnetic circuit, and adopts through-winding technique as the winding process for the coil, thus the main property parameter such as "ampere-turn" and "magnetic power" is maintained to be in an optimized condition. When electricity passes the coil, the axial core can immediately create revolving replacement, and when power off, under the influence by the closed in magnetic field from the permanent magnet, the position of the axial core(that after replacement takes place during electricity passing) can be maintained without the assistance of input electric power. The revolving and restoration are driven by the positive and negative pulse power supply.
Bistable rotary solenoid can maintain the iron core (self lock)onto the two different positions that forms startup and termination, and both positions have an equal outputting torque(double stability). Therefore, if compared to the revolving magnet of same size, it has a bigger rotary angle (with a moving angle up to 100?, can revolve in dual directions (levorotatory or dextral), is sharply responsive, and features energy-saving, small temperature-rising and huge power, etc.

Features:
Bistable
Rotate to either side, left / right by changing direction of electrification. Without electrification, the holding power of the permanent magnet holds the position.
High output and high response speed
Reciprocation is done by changing the direction of electrification without using spring, which enable the products perform high output and high response speed.
Operating angle can be set at wide range
Any operating angle within 30 degree to 100 degree can be set.
No movement of axial direction and low operating noise
There is no movement along the axial and also stopper is located outside, which lower the noise. For the products which are as built-in stopper, the stopper material is examined to lower noise and librations.
Long life
No mechanical moving part is used except a ball bearing, which enable the products to have long life.
